FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KOMITMEN ORGANISASIONAL
ABSTRACT – Every organization wants its members to have high organizational commitment in order that its goal can be achieved effectively and efficiently. In order to increase its commitment, the organization has to be able to maintain, take care of, and increase the enabling factors of the commitment. Some factors which can increase organizational commitment are as follows: how about the role of leadership which is applied in the organization, how about the selection process is organized, and how about the organizational culture is managed. The objective of this research was to examine the influence of leadership, selection process, and organizational culture on organizational commitment of the employees at Muhammadiyah Aceh University with work satisfaction as moderating variable. The research used descriptive statistic and descriptive explanatory method. The population was 77 permanent employees of Muhammadiyah Aceh University, and all of them were used as the samples. The data were gathered by distributing questionnaires and conducting interviews and documentary study and analyzed by using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with an SPSS 22 software program. The result of the research showed that leadership did not have any significant influence on organizational commitment and organizational culture had positive and significant influence on organizational commitment. Leadership, selection process, and organizational culture simultaneously had significant influence on organizational commitment. Work satisfaction could increase the role of leadership and selection process on organizational commitment, but it could not increase the role of organizational culture on organizational commitment. Simultaneously, it could increase the role of leadership, selection process, and organizational culture on organizational commitment. The result of coefficient determination test showed that leadership, selection process, and organizational culture could explain organizational commitment at coefficient determination (R2) of 0.11 or 11%. Work satisfaction moderated leadership, selection process, and organizational culture at R2 of 0.271 or 27.10%.

MENEGUHKAN DIMENSI BUDAYA ORGANISASI UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH ACEH
ABSTRACT – Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan tinggi yang bernaung di bawah payung persyarikatan Muhammadiyah memiliki kepribadian yang nilai-nilainya diturunkan dari nilai ajaran Islam berlandaskan Al-qur’an dan hadist sebagaimana termaktub dalam anggaran dasar dan anggaran rumah tangga Muhammadiyah. Namun demikian, sebagai sebuah lembaga pendidikan yang diberi wewenang khusus menangani masalah pendidikan, maka UNMUHA menjadi subsistem dalam organisasi Muhammadiyah yang juga harus memilki sistem makna bersama yang dianut untuk menjalankan aktifitas organisasinya secara mandiri yang dikenal dengan budaya organisasi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan dimensi budaya organisasi di lingkungan kerja Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh yang belum terdefinisikan secara akademis. Tagline moralitas dan intelektualitas yang menjadi frasa mendampingi simbol dan logo UNMUHA belum ditetapkan sebagai rumusan budaya organisasi, sejatinya frasa tersebut dapat direkatkan menjadi dimensi budaya organisasi Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh sehingga nilai-nilai kerja yang diusung seluruh civitas akademika UNMUHA harus selalu berjalan dalam bingkai moralitas dan intelektualitas yang dijadikan sebagai budaya organisasi UNMUHA.
